The Real Race for President in 2028 began the minute the 2024 election ended.
That’s when the plotting and positioning began.
“They” have refused to admit they are running even though we all know they are.
That’s about to change. Any day now.
“They” will still probably refuse to tell us the truth for a while but we are about to see them everywhere… tearing into President Trump.
“They” will tell us what they will do two years from now when they become president. But not a single one of them will tell us what they are doing right now to solve any of our problems.
Sure. They will tell us in great detail about everything that has gone wrong and what the other guy did that was so wrong the last time ‘they’ were in power.
But don’t we need to begin fixing things right now? Shouldn’t people who want to be our next president be actively helping America and this president do better now? Instead of just tearing him and America down?
Criticizing is easy. Trying to fix things is hard. Given all that is wrong with America right now should we really consider anyone to be our next president if they aren’t working their ass off right now trying to fix things?
I get it. President Trump is complicated to say the least, but he is America’s president and America is at war and… and… and… and… he’s America’s president for God’s sake.
If we want America to be better, he’s the guy in charge. Nothing important gets done without him.
I also believe it’s time to start demanding more from the people who want to be our next president.
With that in mind:
We need to break this stupid cycle of the party out of power doing everything that it can do to make sure that our president and the party in power fails.
Democrats and Republicans are both guilty of this.
So… let me tell you what I would do IF I wanted a become president in 2028.
I’d run for president as an Independent. That way The Republican Party and The Democratic Party both lose at the same time. After the damage each has done to America over the last two and a half decades neither party deserves to win.
The next thing I would do is everything that was possible to do to begin fixing America right now. And I would work with whoever it was that had the responsibility to fix America. Even if that person got all the credit. I don’t give a shit about credit or blame I just want things to finally get better.
