***APOCALYPSE***
WE... owe a debt to those Americans who sacrificed their lives for this nation. And we owe a debt to their heirs.
NOT JUST ON MEMORIAL DAY.
WE MUST DO BETTER.
WE MUST BE BETTER AMERICANS.
TODAY.
When America invaded Iraq, a nation that had nothing to do with 9.11... we did so to demonstrate…
OUR POWER… to The Arab World.
The day America invaded Iraq was a terrible mistake.
We became a different people on that day.
It changed US and not in a good way.
Before America invaded Iraq, we were a flawed people to be sure. But we were working hard to overcome our mistakes. Sharing what we learned with The World.
The day America invaded Iraq… WE… became just another Authoritarian State imposing our will on The Weak.
Pre-9.11… America’s Moral Authority in The World was grounded in the self-sacrifice we celebrate each and every Memorial Day. Each day after America’s invasion of Iraq… we have proven ourselves to be no better than anyone else. And not in a good way.
The Idea of American Exceptionalism became a thing because America was fortunate enough to have been ‘given’ better beliefs to live by… for a time. After Iraq… we stopped living by those beliefs and The World began to believe that maybe America wasn’t better after all.
Pre-9.11… America was a flawed but noble nation on an Inspired journey to become better.
Post-9.11… America is an Authoritarian Regime forcing its will on The Weak. At least in the eyes of too many people in America and around The World.
When we saw Ourselves as a flawed but noble nation on an Inspired journey sharing what we learned with the World… we ‘attracted’ things to US that reflected how we saw ourselves.
It’s as simple as that.
Now that we see ourselves as an Authoritarian Regime imposing our will on The Weak… there is Hell to pay for being a part of… THAT TEAM.
YES. Now there is Hell to pay…
THE ONLY QUESTION IS…
WHO SHOULD PAY?
Of course, this is an incredible over-simplification of things.
100 years from now The People will look back at the 23 years after 9.11 and see this as the time when America stopped living by better beliefs and changed how The World saw America and as a result…
BEGAN ATTRACTING LESSER, DARKER AND UGLIER THINGS…
To The Shores of America.
It’s true. History has a way of oversimplifying things. It just does.
America, this is a complicated time. Simplifying things would go a long way right now.
BRING MORE…
LIGHT INTO THE WORLD.
LESS DARK.
At every twist and turn of Fate.
That is how we end The Endless-war Paradigm that darkens everyone’s world.
